Melissa puts an emphasis on mindfulness and pays close attention to the experiences that occur during each session, while also recognizing the importance of practical ideas for change and growth outside the office. In addition to her practice at TMP, Melissa works at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, where she is an Advanced Clinician for the social work department. Melissa earned her earned her BA from The Colorado College, where she graduated magna cum laude and with distinction. She earned a master’s in clinical social work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College.
