Jackie is a supportive, collaborative and empathetic therapist who tries to look at life’s challenges with a sense of humor, and employs a practical approach to problem solving. She encourages her patients to express their innermost thoughts and feelings in a safe and judgement free environment. Jackie earned her M.S.W. from New York University, Silver School of Social Work, her M.B.A. from New York University, Stern School of Business, and her B.A. in Political Science and Near Eastern Studies, cum laude, from The University of Pennsylvania.

Jackie combines her training in psychodynamic psychotherapy with a very supportive cognitive behavioral approach. Her experience includes working with individuals and couples at a psychodynamic psychotherapy institute, and with children and parents at a charter school, both in NYC. She currently treats adults and couples with a range of diagnoses including trauma, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, grief, mood disorders, relationship and family issues, and career challenges through a strength based approach.

Jackie believes strongly in continuing education and participates in a variety of workshops and lectures to improve her skill as a therapist and keeps abreast of new modalities. In addition, Jackie has many years of business experience in corporate America and understands first hand the pressures and dynamics of navigating the corporate ladder and office politics. She also understand the pressures and challenges of raising a family in NYC and maintaining a sense of balance and priorities in this city we call home.
